Now it's the first time that I REALLY envy all ps3 owners.
Fuck Sega for not releasing it for 360 I'm seriously considering a ps3 for this game.

I have never heard of a Yakuza 1 or 2. Is this a Japanese only game?

edit:they were released on the ps2.

It is to be released in February 09 in Japan.

no, it was released worldwide for ps2. Great games, imo better than gta series.
It's like a Japanese gta with more minigames, more options, advanced fighting system etc. Personally I like that type of games.
It sucks that they are exclusive for Sony.

no, it would also be great. I like it mainly because of its advanced fighting system and mini games. Except that it's as big as gta.
The fact that it's so Japanese is a nice extra feature.
The game is probably less popular worldwide because part 2 was released in Japan in 2006 or so while the english version came out in 2008. It was not so great for it's time anymore.

Games haven't changed that much
