Doesn't that annoy you when you watch it?
I hate it when they flip and chop a story up.
hollywood is recognized for fucking up original stories.

I hope they don't bring Cable/Bishop in. Time travel would make the film seem more unrealistic. I also hope that if they do the Phoenix storyline that they don't into space.

The whole mutants-as-a-discriminated-minority metaphor is good, bringing in time travel and space travel kinda ruins it IMO.

Does X-Men really need to follow a stroy line already made, I like the fact that they do their own thing, something new, I think they are tight. Can't wait to see X3.

X-men story lines are always the same:

Bad mutants want world domination,
Good mutants fight bad mutants & try to bring peace between man-mutee,
Wolverine kicks ass in all fields.

I was thinking that Gambit has always had a thing for Rogue, maybe there is enough love relations in the storylines with the Scott, Jean, and Logan thing.

The last thing I want to see at the cinema is soft-mutant-porn.

Wonder if they will ever cross ocer these films? Such as have Spider Man in the next film. Or Daredevil. Or even Hulk. I mean they did it all the time in the comics. It would be cool.

Well they can,
20th Century Fox owns the film rights to
X-Men (any of the characters from the X-Men series for solo films),
Daredevil (any characters from that series for solo films, i.e. Elektra),
Fantastic Four (any character from that series for solo films).

Universal Pictures owns
Hulk

Sony pictures owns
Spider-Man
Ghost Rider

New Line owns
Blade

Lions Gate owns
The Punisher

Miramax owns
Sin City

Warner Bros. owns
Batman
Superman
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern

They can have some characters appear in some other characters movie, like 4 years ago Warner Bros. did try to make a Batman vs. Superman film, and that fell apart. So instead they opted to restart both franchises. Warner Bros. Bascially owns any film right to just about any DC Comics character. Marvel also has say in their characters as well as DC Comics.
