Their are gangs in South Africa killing each other, similar to bloods and crips, but Tupac and Biggie, sounds odd but yes. But remember, this is 3rd world country, what we think is Gang Violence here goes on everyday there, so, see it as you will. I remember watchin this video with a dude shooting up a Tupac poster with an AK, was wild, "anyone who like him, gone.", is what the sub-title pretty much said. As for Biggie also. I forget what The Documentary was called, if i find it i'll let yall know.

I think your story is a little exagerated , yes a 3rd world country ,but South Africa is a booming place and just as civilised as anywhere. is the gang violence as bad as it is in America ? ... no ! . The black communities in the urban rural areas treat Tupac as a God , literally . Graffiti art like crazy . Biggie i dont know . But , i dont know where you heard that bout gangs stemming from Tupac and Biggie in South Africa

i doubt that very much! i could be completly wrong, since im not from south africa, but i saw a few movies (french) like boyz in tha hood just in south africa. also ive seen a couple of documentaries about a south african special police unit. they train like elite soldiers. no way the US is as bad.
actually, the US ghettos are not that bad, compared to african, asian or south american ghetto life.

True, parts of South Africa are full of crime and gangs. Just because I'm in London and not in SA doesn't mean I don't know. The Police over there have it proper hard. Car Jackings and robbery are daily occurences. I heard of a bloke who had attempted car jackings happen to him 8 times in a year.
