Didnt surprise me that the Ghanese didnt score. African teams find it hard to score, lacking decent strikers (Ivory Coast being the notable exception). The Czechs performed well, wiping the floor with U-S-EEEE. Australia - Japan was a bit of a stolen victory imo, but ok, thats football.

Tomorrow: Brazil - Croatia: good match on paper. Brazil will win, the question is with which numbers? I think the Croatians can score. 2-1 for Brazil

France - Switzerland: Again, not a bad match up. French are stronger on paper but they are struggling a bit with injuries. Swiss may surprise. Hard to predict this one, but i'm gonna say 1-1.


Togo - Korea: Hard. I have no clue how Togo plays, but going by the looks of the rest of the African teams im guessing they are an eager formation of physically strong and skilled players, but lacking organization and experience. The Koreans can take this. They play quick combination play and tend to possess good discipline, something which may prove tough to handle for the Togonians (what the hell are they called anyway?). Prediction: 1-0 for Korea

aight i saw the USA vs Czech game and the Italy vs Ghana game.
The Czech totally owned USA. good thing. i dont want the states getting to the next round. for a team that is ranked this high, their performance was very very deceiving (talking bout USA here) the Czech played good soccer. very nice goal by Koller. the goaler had no chance at all. as for the Italy vs Ghana. Italy had a little bit of hard times and sorta struggled to win it 2-0. but it was a great game, great goals. italy had great opportunities of scoring. but eh i thought del piero was out of the italian team? i'm sure i read it somewhere that he was out of the italian team with vieiri?

I dont understand how did Samuel Kuffuor got out without a card? I mean at was an offside but still and there supposed to be a penalty for Ghana.

To me Ivory Coast was better than Argentina. Same with Ghana & Italia.
I'm also proud of Czech (I'm half Chzech), Rosicky has always been my favorite player. I hope that Koller's injury isn't that bad so he can score against Italia.
Hopefully Italia will loose the two next matches and Ghana make it through the next round. That'll be nice

You cant say Ivory Coast was better than Argentina. The ability to score belongs to the game as well as technical skills, for example. So since the referee made no mistake which lead to a goal, Argentina deserved the win. Same for Ghana versus Italy.
