Will Smith’s Son Jaden To Star In “The Karate Kid”

10-year old Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith is set to star in the 1984 remake of The Karate Kid.

The remake will be produced by Jerry Weintraub, the film’s original producer and written by Chris Murphy.

According to reports from Variety, the film will begin shooting in Beijing, China in 2009.

In related news, Will Smith is in-talks to star in a Steven Spielberg film titled Old Boy.

The film will be a remake of the 2003 Korean film of the same title.
