The beats on The Massacre are below average for Dre, but I still bump the shit.

He's made some hot beats along with the not so hot ones though...

Dre is at a level now where he cannot fall off. Lemme put it to ya like this. if Ray Charles were still alive and released an album in June, and it was really bad, people would say it was really bad and wouldn't listen to it, but in no way would that hurt him as an artist or his legend because he was at a level where he couldn't be hurt, period.

Dre is at that same level. No matter what he does, whether it ends up another bonafide hit/classic or is considered a disappointment, he's still going to be the Godfather of rap and the most respected producer in the game.
i think thats the first time ever ive agreed with somethin uve said. :D

Thank you to the starter of this thread! It seems I'm not the only one to believe that Dre has finally fallen off.Compare his newer beats to what he did on 2001 [the only album of him we can relate it to since its the latest].It seems to me that his beats change depending on the people around him.Every since he has been around Mike Elizondo [or however you spell it] his beats aren't as hot as they used to be.[Maybe Daz was saying the truth when he said Dre didn't produce. But take that as how you want]
But I 100000000% agree that the wackest beats on The Massacre were the ones that Dre produced.
"Outta Control" sounds exactly like the "Curtains Down" with just organs, and the tempo sped up.Not to mention that it's before the Hi-Tek track which is just amazing.
"Gunz Come Out" is just garbage.
Sad to see that the worst beats on the Massacre came from Dre himself, and if you don't believe, compare Dre's efforts [only 2 beats] on The Masscre with the 4 beats he did on GRODT.
