Pac created his own legacy with the inspiration of people before him, and the people in his life at the time of his era .. Noone can carry on such a burden of a legacy he created. Its too much of a role to play. People will expect the same quality as they did when he was around. And they will be very critical to that person just like they have with Afeni. Aint no way someone can walk in those shoe's. He branded himself, marketed his own unique iconic image, and copyrighted the words he was famous for spitting. It started and ended with him. All Afeni had to do was help push out his albums because thats what meant alot to 'Pac. She put out his albums just like he would of wanted and she was the only person to benefit from it. No SUge, no Deathrow, no artists who she felt were only around him at the time because of the hype he was getting. His true friends were those who were with him before and during his career. She didnt know who she can and cant trust. She's like most mothers. They dont always trust the friends you hang with do they? And this was no different from a mothers perspective. She did what she could with as clear conscience as possible. Im glad she handled it and noone else. She has given us some good albums regardless of what people think. Em disappointingly ruined it with Loyal to the Game, but apart from that i aint disappointed overall. Its as good as it will get without 'Pac here to inspire the track more than just the lyrics he gave. Cuz alot of kats know 'Pac was involved with the final cut if he didnt think it sounded right. Cant noone fulfill that apart from him and im glad noone tried to either.
Biggie and Pun werent as iconic as 'Pac hence why they need a champion to remind people they were great too, which noone can really deny. But 'Pac has millions around the world to carry out his legacy - and im proud to be one of them just like all y'all.
So who's gonna carry out his legacy? Us dude!!
