like, who inspires you the most. or who influences you.
no rapper's.

Probably my boyfriend. He influences the decisions I make, not because he is there saying, Amara do this, or Amara do that, but because he is there to inspire and support me, so that I feel I have the confidence and ability to achieve whatever I put my mind to. I guess the same could be said about my parents, probably even more so because they provide the means.

Anyways, my parents influence over me will never cease seeing as they raised me & all. Also, my two older brothers have a pretty big impact on how I see & do things.

Some friends can influence me in certain areas where I trust their judgement.

Inspiration-wise, I am not so sure. I find it hard to be fully inspired by those I don't know & those I do know are not very inspirational. I've always looked up to Ali though, ever since I was a kid & moreso as I got older.

Of late - as in the past 5 or so years - Bruce Lee, Ernesto Guevara & Mohandas Gandhi.

Edit: I best mention George Bernard Shaw, although it is strictly his words that resonate.

Shes gotten me on the right path for a lot of things and im always grateful for that. Everything from her study habits to her health and food habits I always look to. We've been through a lot together and shes always settin examples for me, and helping me in any problems that I have. Love her lots for that

My mom because even when things get so bad that you think they can't possibly get any worse, she still remains positive. Plus she's 56 years old and has been raising my 8 year old nephew since he was born, that right there entitles her to all my respect, aside from giving me life.
My kids because they make me a better person. I know I have to be a better person because I have them looking up to me. I do whatever I have to do make sure they're taken care of and that they grow up to be good people and successful adults.
