I seriously think that the Dice theme that Streethop had was possibly one of the best ones, however I do feel this latest theme is dope.

lmao yeah i remember the story now that you recap it. and yeah, there was a better dayz 2cd promo (lol?) with snippets. they would all fit on one cd, but they appeared in the same order as the retail release on two cds.

anyway, the public tupac scene has gone to hell now. latest news were that dante's father passed away. there was an online memorial tribute website that, among other things, had a guestbook where friends, family, and other people in the community could leave messages. you remember that guy who recorded all those wack tupac re-do's, Jossy? he went on the memorial and talked a bunch of shit about how he was glad his father died because evil dante bootlegged 2pac's music. he had to have them take down the guestbook, after a bunch of people had seen it of course, and even after that, Jossy's little pawns messaged him on AIM talking about how Jossy claimed to have poisoned his father. it's so fucked up. Dante is gone from the public scene forever. I quit too, and pretty much EVERY one of the people who were serious collectors with hookups have left. So it's noobs running the scene now.

never seen that, i dont remember much of hitemup cause i was there when the site changed to 2pacboard then streethop lol but that site looks pretty cool like the layout and all

Well I own a scooter and a motorbike and use the scooter to do quick grocery shopping because I live in the city center and it's easier on parking.

I started browsin this place about 5 months before it got hijacked. When it did I had no idea what was goin on cus nothing really changed. Some people were still posting shit, so I continued to, which I rarely did anyway. Then I noticed alllllll these god damn spammers postin another site and low and behold I came and finally found out what happened. So whoever it was goin spam crazy, seemed like it was 100 people lol, when the initial "theft" took place I thank you.

The first person was Jon. Followed by me, Stephen and Dante.

i love this site. my only problem is it getting blocked out by the firewall at college due to some members swearing or using blocked keywords. so sometimes i cant open threads which really annoys me because i love this site.

Rukas & Co. You've done a good job.

Tupac-Online was the first real forum I joined, and that was during the days when Jon put a lock on this forum (I still remember how big of a deal it was when it said "registration has been opened! Get in now, before it closes again!")

But once I was able to get in here, I stayed, and so for nearly 2-3 years I lived, died, ate, and shat here. I remember this place was so popular that we had plenty of women posting here. I havent really browsed the forums lately but I don't see that anymore. Bella, Amani, meli, this one chick who went to depaul whose name escapes me...god damn, there were so many women who posted here. i thought it was revolutionary because back then i didnt think any women had time to waste on forums, and the fact that they did, and on 2Pac at that, really had me impressed/shocked/awed/pleased.

Then I got mixed up into other forums and other music and other artists, and for a time I pretty much just kept in touch with a few regulars off the forum, and right now my obsession with 2Pac is pretty much at an all time low.

But i guess that's life. In any case, when Jon hung it up I think 2pacboard as we knew it died and thus streethop, which had just been Rukas' little hip hop news segment until then, was officially born. and then when rukas changed the forum layout early last year i lost my 1000 or so extra posts that were done before the hacking. before that, those posts had managed to stay in our count even though we couldn't access them. but now, they're gone even in counts.

I don't feel any sort of connection to this place anymore. it's not the same and with the news about Dante, i don't think any 2Pac forum, whether it's here or makaveli-forever, will ever be able to recapture it.

consider this my goodbye? i dunno, perhaps.
