what's the hottest/favorite verse you heard lately?

#1
for me it's Fab's verse on "6 minutes" with Cass and wayne
i like a lot of his rhymes and punchlines in it...the lines that are bold are the ones i like the best

[Fabolous]
Your goddamn right I'm feeling myself
A chauffeur no sir, I'm wheeling myself
Looking for a chick chilling for self
So I can show her the suicides and talk her into killing herself
I'm having problems dealing with wealth
But you wouldn't understand it, until you get a million yourself
You niggaz must've got a deal for your health
Your cd is frozen food, it just chills on the shelf
I spend big, at any time I can start splurging
The twin cigs open chests like a heart surgeon
And I'm buttoned up, I'm just a blue collar crook
But I keep a stack thick as few college books
I got a new polished look
And twenty dime bitches, to show y'all niggaz how my two dollars look

The boy's got at least six digits on
So the guns gotta be at least midget long

The money, is like ten bridges long
I throw bread around just to turn pigeons on
I got some good smoke just for puffers
The two grand twenty's make the hustlers suffer
Plus it's fluffer, than a cotton ball
I've gotten calls wanting me to put the pot in malls
But nowadays you can't put it past 'em
I got a Dan Marino arm, I'm bout to throw some bullets past 'em
And the niggaz in the hood keep quoting my lines
I don't jump ship I keep floating in mine
Long as I keep toting I'm fine
I'mma have these dick sucking niggaz deep-throating the nine

I jumped in the English ship, Benzed whip
It's Terminator 2 chrome the engines dip
I'm reading scripts no, not the penmanship (no)
The box-office shit (yeah), I box off this bitch (yeah)
Jessica Alba, Kirsten Dunst
And still make a mil' off the first of months
These dudes be the first to front
'Til they family and friends is in limos, they in hearse in front

I'm in the top position, I can make you a proposition
I'm in the hard top waiting on the drop edition
To hell with the patience
I'mma send a nigga down under like Australia vacations

for those who haven't heard it yet check it out

Jay-Z's verse on Jeezy's "Go Crazy" rmx.

Uh, more than a hustla I'm the definition of it
Master chef, Lord of the kitchen cupboard
More than a street legend, homey it's hova
More than a relief pitcher, I'm the closer
The Mariano of the Mariott, ah
If money talks, the whole world's bout to hear me out
See I'm a hustla's hope, I'm not his pipe dreams
So when they speak of success, I'm what they might mean
Attract money my worst color is light green
My favorite hue is Jay-Z blue
Don't follow me youngin, follow my moves, I'm not a role model
A bad influence got the world drinkin gold bottles
When Puff was in that tuff spillin Mo'
I was at my video, Cris' on the speedboat
In my lifetime nigga, go through your research
Same timers my nigga, that was me first
Chrome shoe'd the GS, I came feet first
In the game like a baby boo on the reach birth

I got the keys if you need work
I can Kingpin you a line, the diamond of time, uh!
My niggaz love it when I talk like this
My corporate people start buggin cuz I talk like this
The corporate thugs is like, "Nah Hov" Talk that shit
The dope boys go crazy when they hear that boy Jay-Z

Yo it’s that real nigga shit

Buckwild, jumpin out they whips
So I been fresh like the prince ever since grade 6
Can’t turn back, I ain’t been the same since
You know how bitch niggas in the industry
Pretend to be a friend of me
In the long run, becomin enemies
R.i.p. wet capone, who got jooked up
Looked up, my nigga had mound, this be he hooked up
Got niggas out on the av., they all shook up
Me and henny think this o.g.c. is booked up
Fuck your wack sound, say the word, get backed down
Got my nigga henny mad, yellin in the background (fuck them niggas)
They better ask someone
Because paranoia got me ready to blast someone
Yo ass get down, starang say blast them son
Yell out, m.f.c., and here they come wit massive guns

[louieville sluggah]
Aiyo some chick asked her home girl who is he?
She said you don’t know henny, v-i-double l-e
That’s that nigga that’s full blowned just like a celly
Bill real nigga shit, tell ya how the hell he feel
G.c. til the day I d, all night but it up, m.f.c. for life
Niggas I looked up to, turned out to be suspect alarmin
Grab ya kids, niggas is barney
Yo they able gettin money, they laughin, but ain’t funny
They gonna stay hungry, cuz our days gettin sunny
Aiyo I put it down, for my people knocked down and locked down
G.c.’s can’t be kept down, we keep on, till the sound is full blown
Pops, i’mma see ya when you finally hit home

[starang wondah]
Yo, who hit starang wondah, relation and stevie
Hennyville, guns buck to m-o-b-b
Should ya work hard, to us comes easy
Don’t want beef here, no prob come see me

[top dog big kahuna]
Straight flashback, clearin ya field, lookin for cash back
That’s fucked up, you was in debt, know you done lucked out
You bugged out, take up this year and get the fuck out
My amaze, rollin that green weed up in my leaf
I’m not havin that, just replace wit the black
Check judo or knitty, or june for the 50 cent
Look at that, my niggas wanna be where the hookers at
So where we at? bucktown muthafuckas
Who are we? m.f.c., bitch niggas
We hold it down, hold it down, hold it down

[buckshot]
Let’s take a walk through park slow, not what you eat
But we practice the art of chokin these streets of brook-lan
Is similar to vietnam, so be it to bomb
We never calm especially when we get illegally searched
Stereotype, you know they from brooklyn, so they bound to fight
That’s right, what, ya niggas ain’t shit
Cock back the double barrel and spit seed
Buck never quit, I walk the streets wit a bunch of o.g.’s, who know me
Pass that nickel bag nigga from 93
Buckshot, that nigga wit the red dot, pointin at ya knot
Cock quick, nigga watch this

[havoc]
I heard your sayin, purposely spillin the beans
On the street, rockin paper, now you playin the greens
Khak’s sacky, don’t wanna get the fuck out bad
Know the sim whilin on the street is all in ya fad
Twenty stitches, collect call stressin mad bitches
Got you in the home or house of snitches
Dick thatta dug you, only hit for mom on the humble
Four building, what ’em crumble
I hate these muthafuckas, got the heat in the stash
Just prepare, shit ready to cock
Did he wobble in and watch roll eyes
Number one fan, to po nine
Talk behind my back, come quick to blow minds
I’m quick to blow strike wit the gold nine
Ask my mother, God bless, that was quick, to hold mine

[starang wondah]
I wet my man, big hav from the m-o-b-b
Hennyville, buckshot my man d-o-g
Should ya work hard, for us comes easy
Ya want beef, no prob come see me
O.g.c., mobb deep, brownsville and qb
Pocket change, mack alone the whole m.f.c.
Bob marley spliff, crack open the hennecy
You want beef here, no prob come see we

That Fab verse is brilliant but his monotone delivery make him sound rather boring.
Nonchalant-ness = part of his appeal. That Fab verse is dope. He's crazy, everytime he spits he comes correct.

Kanye-Gone has got 2 killer verses: Consequence's and Kanye's last (2nd) one. Cam's is decent, too.

too many wack ass verses in here including tony yayo and jayz and fabulous????? are u shitting me?? heres a verse (actually entire song is one verse)

This is the realest shit I ever wrote or said
wake up with it every day and take it with me to bed
hurting my heart and hanging over my head
'bout the realest nigga these Texas streets have ever bred
C.L. Butler, better known as Chad
or Pimp C, the closest homeboy I ever had
Now when we first met, we wasn't on the same page
but petty misunderstandings, they got cleared up with age
two young boys who was ready mash,
put P.A. on the map, and maybe make a little cash
jumped on with BigTyme and put down a few songs
everybody co-signed, saying that we could do no wrong
it hit streets with a big-ass bang
them gangsta-ass rhymes with that country-ass twang
dropped "Tell Me Something Good", took off and went live,
shit, next you we know, we was signing with Jive
dropped Too Hard To Swallow, a "Pocketfull of Stones"
put the remix on Menace, shit we had it going on
got love in the streets, and played on the ave,
but the homie putting us out, wasn't playing too fair
had to separate ourself, bring in a new team,
but sometimes the otherside ain't always what it seems,
we dropped Supertight, an album full of killa flows,
but then we got caught up with the drugs and the hoes,
we didn't realize what was happenin' on the real,
the new management was cuttin' backroom deals,
hiding different money and concealing the price,
he had us doing all the work but was keeping the biggest slice,
took a while to catch on, to what homie was doing
but bout the time we did, all the paperwork was in ruins,
nigga kept all the receipts, so we couldn't file taxes,
so the next thing you know, IRS hitting us with axes,
"Pimp you owe seven figures, Bun you owe six,
baby get your paper together, get that shit fixed"
we nixed the management team, and tried it ourself,
cussed out the jig, and almost got put on the shelf
fuck it, dropped Ridin' Dirty, instant classic in the south
we claimed the southern title, shut everybodys mouth
got some clout in the game, boys calling us the greatest,
but meanwhile, me and Pimp, we still ducking haters,
the old manager callin' and say he finna sue,
and put a padlock on everything we try to do
put a call out to the Prince, "this nigga still hatin'
we got heat for the streets, and we can't keep the people waitin'"
he made a call or two, to some folks, tellin' them "Maaaaan,
you gotta cut UGK some slack, understaaand,"
young Pimp got the plan, Bun got the drive,
Rap-A-Lot had our back, and we're just waitin on Jive,
we got the big bosses on the same page,
so me and young Pimp can hit them from centerstage,
next thing you know, we got this call from the N.Y.
it's Jay-Z, sayin' "Y'all niggas been fly!"
he doin' VOlume three, and got a track from Tim,
and wanna get some trill niggas rock kick it with him
shit Big Bun was all for it, but Pimp wasn't sure,
but "Big Pimpin'" hit on one eighty seven ?viewer?,
number one song on any station you turn on,
MTV and BET, we gettin' our burn on,
Grammy-nominated, can't believe that we made it,
then we got a call from Jive that left us all faded
and it stated, that "Due to the success, of the track
we here at Jive Records, would like to piggyback,
get another beat from Tim, then get a verse from Jay,
let Hype shoot the video, and we'll be on the way"
shit it sounded o-kay, but me I had to ask
"if we don't do 'Big Pimpin 2,' will you still put us on blast?"
a song like that might take a nigga to the top,
but my true fanbase, might think a nigga flopped,
they got mad and put niggas on hold,
for damn near year 'til the buzz got cold
so we said "Fuck 'Em", and went back to the basics,
tryin' to find ways to get the fuck up out the matrix,
we put Dirty Money together and it was aces,
but that's around the time that Pimp got two cases,
he got probation, said "Fuck You Hoes",
we finished the album, got ready to do a couple shows,
and then he violated, one month before we dropped,
and shit just got put on hold, a fucking stop,
now thirty days done, we back to the nitty gritty
album got released, big show down in Chocolate City,
niggas with masks on, vests and all black,
it's christmas 2001, bitch we was on that,
strongest on the block, nobody could budge,
and then he violated now he right back before the judge,
they callin him a nuisance, put my dog behind a fence,
it was January 28th, he ain't been home since,
do a nigga through a loop, and caught me in the ?crosses?,
?steady? co-C.E.O, now I'm the fucking boss,
had the devil on my back, got to drinkin' and druggin'
had to make a choice, get back to rappin' or thuggin'
so I walked up to my bedroom, got down on my knees,
put my hands together and I prayed "Lord please,
let me get past this bridge over water that's troubled,
and get back up on my grind on the double"
he said "Son don't worry, cuz it's not really as hard as it seems,
and I can turn your nightmares back into dreams,
you just gotta stay true to yourself, and to see,
that push away from the devil and get closer to me"
and ever since that night that I promised I been on it,
givin' the killa-flow to anybody who want it,
pimp the pen like never before, I'm breakin' them G's,
not to mention I got the world screaming "FREE PIMP C!"
so soon as you make parole, and they open the doors,
you ain't gotta worry about nothin', the world is yours,
ain't no more struggles, my nigga, and no more strife,
I kept it real because to me, it's UGK for life.

What's so special about that verse? It doesn't have any impressive lyrical skills in it (interesting rhyme scheme, metaphors, etc), the vocab is on a 2 year old's level....It's just a story that he's giving. A story on a basic lyrical level.
