Yeah he wrote the Fear Street series - kinda the older kids version of goosebumps.

I never got into R.L.Stine's pick-a-path books.... I always used to cheat, lol!

^^ i don't remember the pick a path books? what were they? i don't think i read fear street either, i don't remember reading them anyway. i just read all the junior horror books

They were books where you were given choices of where the storyline went - as in you chose what decision the character made by choosing one of the multiple possibilities with corresponding page numbers, which determined the ending. Some endings were good, some were bad. I would sneakily read ahead to make sure I had chosen the right path... I think maybe even there was only one "right" path...

oh i had the pick a path books! R.L.Stine books, were they the ones with adam, sally and watch and some more but i cant remember their names???? i loved them books. i used to read goosebumps too and watched the series on telly. my all time favourite book when i was a kid was Matilda. ive read it so many times i could probably recite it from memory!!!!
