I was into all them junior detective type stories, starting with the old school Famous Five/Secret Seven, the Hardy Boys, Three Investigators. And Nancy Drew. That's right, Nancy Drew. I don't even care what you think.

Read the Chronicles of Narnia too, the Redwall books plus some of the classic Roald Dahl stories like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Witches, The Twits, BFG and so on.

Then I got into the Paul Jennings books, you might know the stories from the Aussie TV show 'Round The Twist'. His shit was crazy. The Demon Headmaster books :D

Later I got into Douglas Adams, Tom Holt, Terry Pratchett...those kinda authors.

I read a lot as a child.

The Demon Headmaster TV show was scary as hell, especially since I had a teacher that looked just like him.

Figured the thread would be more at home here in ET. I used to read the Babysitters Club as well - they were good, lol. Also Goosebumps although I thought the Fear Street series was better. Paul Jennings books were pretty cool - I used to watch Round the Twist as well Illuminattile. I also liked those Where's Wally books. As for any specific book - there was this one called Katie Morag and the two grandmothers (something like that), I loved that one. What else..... Spot, Hairy McClairy, the Mister Men....Grug. lol.

The Goosebumbs Series...I can still remember individual books.

The Fear Street Series

If I read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie when I was in like 4th grade, does that still count? Because that book was cool as hell.

The Cirque Du Freak Series (I still get the new ones when they come out).

The Harry Potter Series (I still get the new ones when they come out).

I read Roald Dahl when I was younger: Georges Marvelous Medicine, Esiotrot.

One poetry book I loved was called 'Please Mr's Butler'. I had a teacher called Mrs Butler too.

Plus I got the whole edition (50 books) of How My Body Works. Ended up shooting the plastic guy to peices with a pellet gun.
