Patrick Kluivert. His career really went downhill fast didnt it. He never really fulfilled his potential although he did score the winning goal in the 95 champions league final.

I would have said Albert Luque as well. How could you compare the Albert Luque of Deportivo with the one at Newcastle. He seems to doing well back in Spain with Malaga now though.

Diego Tristan-Apparantly West Ham signed him not too long ago. I have forgotten what this guy looks like. He was one of the best strikers in Europe only a few years ago. Can he even play football anymore.

Juan Valeron-Another player from the Deportivo team. He was class but injuries have ruined his career. He hasnt played in ages. Im not sure if he is retired now.

Yeah, he formed a great partnership with Milito. Im still in shock that Zaragoza went down. How possibly could that team go down.

People said the same about that Middlesbrough team back in 97. Remember, they had players like Juninho and Ravanelli. I guess players under-performed and some didnt pull their weight. As far as i can recall, there was alot of unrest in the Zaragoza dressing room last season. When a team goes on a losing streak, its very hard to stop it. Player lose confidence and players start fighting with eachother. What you need there is players with real character who are willing to battle on the pitch and drive their team out of trouble.

According to wikipedia, Ewerthon still plays with Zaragoza. He was on loan at Stuttgart for the first half of last season and Espanyol for the second half.

He plays for Colorado Rapids now. i had completely forgotten about him.
