So you have no sympathy for those with disabilities or diseases?devils_advok8 said:I believe in reincarnation.I believe that those who sinned so much in their life come back handicapped, or with something to remind them of what they had done in their other life, except that they come back as somebody else.
lol so i guess brad pitt mustve done somethin awfully right in a previous life.devils_advok8 said:I believe in reincarnation.I believe that those who sinned so much in their life come back handicapped, or with something to remind them of what they had done in their other life, except that they come back as somebody else.

I really can't understand that mentality.
Please tell me where I mentioned not having any sympathy for those with disabilities or diseases? All I said that if there was anything like coming back re-incarnated, then myopinion is that those disabled or diseased in their after life had sinned in their previous life.It wasnt mentioned anywhere in the Quran btw, just to clear things of your mind, as I see that you started jumping to conclusions already.Illuminattile said:So you have no sympathy for those with disabilities or diseases?

you people are missing my point, my grandmother (dad's side) died from diabetes and she had all her toes cut, she was a great person whom I never met, I'd give half my life away just to get to see her for a day.It was nothing personal man, it wasnt directed at neither your later father (RIP) or my late grandmother.I was just giving my opinion.I wasnt even talking about those who got diseased later on in their lives, I was talking about those who were born diseased.Minardi said:my dad died 3-4 months ago, he had diabetics, had lost one leg, all his toes, some fingers, a kidney, and problems with the heart... althrough he went through all of that shit, he still maintained and was one of greatest personalities ive ever been around, and thats not just because he was my dad, he had the ability to enlighten your day when you had speaked with him, others felt like that to, he wasnt the only one punished when he left, people tend to forget that when speaking about religions, because they seem to focus on the one hit, when 100+ where affected by this...
was he a shitty person once 1532 years ago or what?? and what about his personality?? he gets that back in the next life or what??? and how can he remeber if he was a bad or a good person?? who informed him of that??? i cant remember someone told me, when i died last time.
so what your saying is, if im nice as fuck to other people now, all i gotta do is sit on my fat bum the next time im born and everything well get right??? BS

how the fuck did anything, and i mean like... the first thing ever, i dont know what that is start...
But how can you have sympathy for someone who was obviously an evil person in a previous life? They must be the same, evil person deep down, otherwise it wouldn't be a punishment at all. You said how your grandmother was a great person, but by your rationale she must have been an evil person in a previous life. How can you be a completely different person from one life to the next? And if you are, why do you deserve to be punished for what you did in a previous life if you now had nothing to do with that?devils_advok8 said:Please tell me where I mentioned not having any sympathy for those with disabilities or diseases? All I said that if there was anything like coming back re-incarnated, then myopinion is that those disabled or diseased in their after life had sinned in their previous life.It wasnt mentioned anywhere in the Quran btw, just to clear things of your mind, as I see that you started jumping to conclusions already.
Oh, well that's OK then...devils_advok8 said:I wasnt even talking about those who got diseased later on in their lives, I was talking about those who were born diseased.

And that's one of the many reasons people like a nice, easy answer like creationism and intelligent design. People don't like things to be outside their realm of understanding.CalcuoCuchicheo said:The truth is, the universe is mind boggling and the deeper you think about the more confusing it is

If giving someone a disability or disease at birth is punishment for a previous life, what is the rationale behind giving them a disability or disease later in life?
The brain is still alive for at least 30 minutes after death.(its still giving signals)Minardi said:I believe we are nothing but data stacked up in our brain, when the heart stops, the data is cleared and we are gone, since "We" consist of nothing but diffrent data wich forms our personality.
i want to believe theres something, but my logic says theres nothing.
the only thing im wondering is how the fuck the brain handles being dead, i mean there must be some kind of brain activity/seconds/minutes/hours after we die, how would this shutdown feel/look like for us??? a display of memories?, brightfull colors? or flying through a tunnel?
anyone in here that has some kind of knowledge on how long brain activity there is after we die??
