What If Tupac Got Arrested In Vegas...?

I have been thinking of that a lot recently. The other day i watched the footage of Pac, Suge and their entourage stomping Orlando Anderson again...but this time i enhanced the picture and i was looking a little closer and one thing i noticed was that there was atleast 2-3 security gaurds standing right there and did a little to nothing to stop it...i mean c'mon...the MGM GRAND is a famous casino right...? so wouldn't there security be armed? Why would any type of law enforcement allow a mob assault to take place and then let the assailants get away right in front of their eyes it doesn't make sense to me. Why wouldn't the security have them detained until the police arrived...they detained Orlando so why not Pac and everybody else. Because i think if he had been deatained that night until the police arrived he would've been arrested because they had more than enough evidence to convict them...they had eyewitness' and they had it on tape so if the police would've got there before they left the scene they all were gpoing to jail for sure...but going to jail that night probaly would've saved his life i don't know for how long but i do know that Sept. 7th 1996 wouldn't have been a day that all of us will never forget.

can you tell me the interview in which you read or heard him say that...because i never heard it...and i think going to jail for a night or two would be better than getting killed because the fact is the only way he would have had to do some real time was if Orlando wanted to press charges and go to court to testify angainst him which i really doubt he would have...but let's say he did testify against him he could done a few months and then just posted bail...simple as that and actually i remember Tupac saying that he wouldn't mind going to jail "IF HE DID SOMETHING WRONG" but he's not going if he didn't...he said it on THUG ANGEL LIFE OF AN OUTLAW during the shooting range interview.

i never blamed the gaurds for his death...i only pointed out what i thought could've been done different that night...i just think that they didn't do their job to the best of their ability

it does to me. If you are a security guard and there are like 10 (huge, dangerous lookin) dudes beatin up one guy, you'll call for backup before you do ANYTHING. And I guess when the backup arrieved, they were gone (over all, this whole thing took 10 seconds)....... anyway, what if tupac got Arrested? I agree, he wouldn't have died that night, but if he'd still be alive is an other thing. We simple can't know.

One of the guarsd was on the floor trying to shield Orlando Anderson while another was on his two-way (I would think calling for back-up).

As for them being armed, even if they were it's unlikely they'd just start shooting at Suge & them as that would be seen as over-reacting & could have some serious repurcussions for the guards & their families. The same could be said for pointing their guns at Suge & them.

Although, I do think that surely the cops were called as soon as DR left because an assault had just occured. So where were they before & during the shooting? Nowhere to be seen. Then again, I don't think Orlando Anderson was going to report them...

I do remember readin that the cops ask Orlando about all this and he said nothing, that's why they didn't follow (whatsoever) 2pac, cause you can't if there is no victim you know.

but what if snoop died in 94
he would be one of the best 2, and look where he is now

Not Tupac, he always stayed true and he knew where he came from. Snoop is a different story. Tupac clearly speaked about being a voice for our community and he was, but Snoop and other rappers only care about themselves, they never give back.
Pac also wanted to get involved with lots of things like political discussions.

how do you know what you were "TOLD" isn't a lie...? you don't know right...? none of us do because none of us were there...so don't shoot down my opinion...and i never once said that it was a fact i just stated my opinion...you know...just a thought hence the title "WHAT IF THUPAC GOT ARESTED IN VEGAS" i respect yours and everybody else's opinion because everybody is entitled to it...but i believe Tupac got shot in retaliation of the embarassment and humiliation he and everybody else caused Orlando to deal with that night...but that's just my opinion

first of all at the time Tupac wrote these lyrics he had never even been to jail and what he meant by "TRAPPED IN A LIVING HELL" was his community because when you live in a ghetto most people feel like they're trapped and there's no way out and it's a "LIVING HELL" because of all the drugs, diseases, poverty and violence that surrounds you

yes it would've been a night or two for the fact that the case would've got thrown out due to the victum not being there to testfy...it doesn't matter that the incident was caught on tape or not the victum would have to press charges

only if he didn't do anything wrong and he was being falsely accused then under no circumstances was he going to willingly give up his freedom...BUT he said and i quote "i don't mind going to jail if i did do something wrong"
