I dont have much time but this had me thinking..

What did Pac bring to the rap game that we hear from other artists in todays rap, hip hop? Can it be his honesty? His abillity to talk about real problems and express them trough music?

He made different songs for and album. By that i mean club songs, serious songs, female songs and club bangers. He didn't stick with 1 or 2 like some rappers do.

Pacs name has been brought up many times and in many songs by alot of artists since he died. He must have impressed them tremendously. The strongest reason to why i think pac impressed them is beacause he had the guts to talk about real problems. And that seemed to have helped him sell records also.

I think that ever since Pac died, from the year 1996 and up rap and hip hop artists has been releasing more and more songs with real messages. Have they taken this from Pac?

Some example of Pacs heavy hitters:
Brendas got a baby
Wonda why they call you bitch?
Dear mama
Life goes on
and more

Your thoughts?

I guess, his deep lyrics and his realness. He was the realest there ever was.He went to jail and was shot and nearly died.He had experienced what he rapped about.Another thing is his voice. He had a very powerful voice. So when you hear some of his deeper songs his voice can send shivers down your spine. He had so much emotion.

I see a lot of rappers taking on the thuggish ruggish, fuck the world gangsta militarism. I also see fans getting tattoos, wearing clothes that Pac wore and wearing a bandana like Pac. I see rappers feeling good about putting crack money in their mama's mailboxes.

Tupac brought realism to the rap game. He viewed things for what they really were, and never softend or sweetened anything up when he spoke in his music.

2Pac brought the real to the game..never faked anything and spoke his mind no matter what anyone thought and that's why there will never be another no matter how hard they try..that's what he brought to the game
