I like them but they've fallen into an undesirable pattern. They make predictably okay music. They used to make really great music. I know, I'm doing that thing--that "I like their old stuff" thing, but it's true. New stuff sounds samey.

Hey funk, let me tell you what I did. I downloaded some Matthew Sweet. I had a kneejerk what is this shit moment and I turned it off. He's probably better than I remember. I'm judging him by one minute of one song. Fair.

Even more intrigued by Miles Kane since I looked at the writers of his new album and saw that a certain Alexander Turner (Arctic Monkeys) is credited on most of them. I am a big Arctic Monkeys fan...!
