Web Design Questions *urgent help needed*

How would I incorporate a talking facilty into my links. Say if you clicked a link, there was woman that spoke saying 'welcome' whe you enter the site. I want to incorporate this facilty via php. so i got all my files in a database and i can then update the voice messages through the databse. Its dynamic updating content management system.

Also. know there's some sites where, when you pay for music tracks or an album then they give you a link to download. How would i do something like that. or they give you a special password for a download area after payment.
Can you give me pointers as to how i would do this. The download area thing is simply a protype that im doing, so it doesnt have to be 100% perfect. but if i could incorporate some kind of facility which resembles this.

Im not too bad in website design, eventhough im a begginner, i learn pretty quickly. also i have been using dreamweaver to make my site.

If by talking you mean playing a soundfile just embed the soundfile in the page.

I must warn you, most people hate sites that force you to listen to something. Theres nothing worse then surfing the net at 3am and getting some annoying loud ass sound.

As for the automated links, look into various shopping cart systems, some offer it out of the box and some have hacks available.

ok cool i know what you mean by embedding sound files. Would you know how to make professional sounding sound files. Like a welcome prompt.

yea that gets real annoying. especially if ur a 56k user and it takes longer for the shit to load...

^^ just a prototype for a project so I just want to show that i did that function. I probably do a write up later saying that it would get annoying and i probably wouldnt include it in the real version
