Paradise? I always laugh at that.

Just because you have to wade through shit to get in there, doesn't mean it's Paradise...lol

Question for Rosco - do you have any opinion on the Tricolours been paraded at Celtic Park & would you consider Celtic Irish or Scottish?

I'd love to see you come over here and say that ;)

N.B. Question to you Calcuo, if you (Rangers fans) consider yourself Scottish why do you all love blazing the Union Jack and St. George's flag around Ibrox?

Yeah, maybe I will. My blood uncle (Scottish) married an Irish girl who's family resides in....where....Dublin? Yes, Dublin, I'll come over there & scream that shit in the streets of Dublin......with all sorts of muffling devices over my face lol

Nah, for real, 'Paradise' is a dream. Parkhead is a shithole.

You probably didn't see this because I edited.

I don't agree with that shit, that's why I was asking. I don't think any of them should be flown. Stick with the St. Andrews or the Lion Rampant.

I wouldn't mind the Tricolour or indeed the N. Irish flag bu there's so much shit that comes with it. I know people who actually have venomous hate for the Irish, citing history as their reason, & these motherfuckers call themselves Protestant & don't attend church - ever!

As for British & English flags - fuck that! Independence like our Irish brothers.

Much the same here, I know a few people who have a real hatred for Protestants simply because they equate them with the English and Rangers. I don't agree with that sort of thing though. It's mostly the ignorant small minded idiots who think like that. Most of the Protstants I know are actually Celtic fans, pretty committed ones at that!

My God!

I don't mean to be dramatic, but you get stabbed for that over here. I know you've had wars & shit & complete peace still ain't been realised, but over here I've seen many people take some physical punishment for what side they claim.

We are a club with Irish roots playing in Scotland, I don't consider us one or the other.

Flying the Tricolour is simply a celebration of these roots providing you are doing it for the correct reasons, i.e. not just to piss the huns off.

Rangers themselves only became so Pro-British in the 1920's in an attempt to cash in on the sectarian divide which was already more than evident in the West of Scotland and at this time had nothing to
do with football what so ever. Celtic were initially formed as a charity for the thousands of Irish Catholics living in poverty in Glasgow so of course were goin to attract this audience. Indeed Celtic - along with Hibernian - were initially denied access to the Scottish league on sectarian grounds.

Hence it made good business sense for Rangers to target the Protestants (by implementing the infamous 'no signing Catholics' policy), who of course vastly outnumbered the Catholics. It is for this reason that I disagree with the UJ and Red Hand been displayed at Ibrox. Historically Rangers are Scottish, they have no connection to Northern Ireland and are no more British than nearly 150 other clubs who don't feel the need to parade the UJ on a weekly basis. i.e. Their actions are purely reactionary to Celtics and are done to incite hatred.

Sorry to get a bit of topic but when I get started on this I can't stop. :D
