Despite cursing out a Miami judge who denied his bail, DMX avoided further jail time today (August 27) by pleading guilty to drug charges as part of a plea deal.
According to TMZ, DMX plead guilty to trying to buy small amounts marijuana and cocaine in Miami in June. The rapper was slapped with jail-time and a $483 fine. He is now a free man.
The Yonkers bred rapper had been in custody since being arrested in Miami on August 14th on a warrant for failing to appear in a Phoenix court for a drug related case.
DMX had tried to bail himself out of jail since his arrest but the Phoenix judge who issued the warrant revoked his bond and he also faced the aforementioned drug charges in Miami.
