yep, they played a great game. Could have scored earlier, but well. They deserved it.

Lyon never threatened. They hit the outside of the post once, but VDS had it covered anyway. The rest of their attacks usually ended in Ben Arfa hitting it into the stands. United's finishing was poor again, but we were always going to win it.

^^i dunno about that. all it would have taken was a free kick from Juninho, but yea, as i said they didnt create much.United never killed the game off. But i dont rate Lyon. I think that they were one of the weaker teams left in the competition. I though Rooney was good. Nani was crap and Ronaldo did some nice things but wasn't great overall.

Yea Ben Arfa finishing was poor but he is an extremely skillful player.He has great potential. If he can improve on his shooting and passing then he can be a top player. Liverpool should sign him, but i wouldnt hold my breath on Benitez signing a player like him.
