Dead Prez's RBG drop last year? Or was it this year?
Again, im not sure if Cassidy dropped this year or last, but thats a top 5 for me.

If so, both are in my top 5.

Another dude that dropped this year, Ju-Rock, hes pretty local, from my city, but got some recognition throughout Ohio and the sourrounding states. But his album, Calm Before the Storm, is one of my top five this year.

Kayne's Late Registration is prolly 4th.

And, Ill prolly get shit for this, but I thought Jeezy's album was pretty strong, so I'll put that as 5th.

But, 2005 has been a rather medicore year for hip-hop. What can ya do with such litttle to work with? lol

BTW(I havn't got the chance to check Little Brother out yet, but that has potential.)

Blackalicious - The Craft has had some rave reviews, aparently a must have.
Trying to remember Kano's album name, but I listened to that once and it sounded pretty good.

This year has sucked but the best album to come out in no particular order are...

Common-Be
Little Brother-Minstrel Show
AZ-AWOL
B.Sigel-The b.Comming

Now way in Hell that Twista's the day after should be on the list... the album was hot, steamy, smelly, wet, poopy!

Blueprint - 1988
Cage - Hell's Winter
Danger DOOM - Mouse and the Mask
Edan - Beauty and the Beat
Dope that you included 1988, :thumb: didn't know how many people actually felt that album.

Of the ones you mentioned probably

Aesop Rock - Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives (EP)
Cage - Hell's Winter
Danger DOOM - The Mouse and the Mask
Edan - Beauty and the Beat,
The Jacka - The Jack Artist
Tek & Steele - Smif 'N' Wessun: Reloaded.

But download them before you buy. Don't want you to buy something only to dislike it.
I bought the Danger DOOM and Cage albums myself. Danger DOOM doesn't have that much replay value to me though cause of Danger's beats. They're cool but still ehh.
