Keep laughing. The animal WASNT wild. The animal was TRAINED. Its not like she went to Africa stood next to a tiger and got eaten. That would be stupid. But she didnt do that, she went to a national park who's business it is to have people pose next to their animals. This is what they are TRAINED to do. The tiger WAS NOT wild.

I got scratched on the face by a tiger once, it was like a little little one, i could of took it so i dont care, a cub or whatever you call it. Even that one they gave drugs and shit to calm it down, so people can go pet them or what not. They had the big tiger and peole were taking pictures with it and feeding it with a bottle and shit and they got the picture taken, and since the little bastard scratched me i wasn't about to go with the big one, I aint that stupid (no pun intended). But i mean the tiger had to be on some sort of drug, i am kind of curious to why it attacked. The little that "attacked" me was my fault cus i treated it like a dog and started playing tug of war with it with a little chew toy, yeah im a dumbass. But i think it had to be provoked, why would the tiger just trip, especially on those drugs that practically put it to sleep.

Anyway the way I see this is the girl should have known the risk's of taking the photo and been aware that anything could happen, as the article said the owner clearly stated that. It was her decision to go in there and it may not be her fault for I'd think she didnt provoke it but hey thats what happens when you have an animal thats natural instinct is to protect and kill. I dont beleive in killing animals out of pure revenge and this Tiger should have never been used again in this way, but perhaps given limited to no contact with humans unless heavily sedated. Its like here recently, in Queensland a man got taken by a crocodile while fishing and the authorities went out on a search and destroy mission and killed the wrong Croc, its ridiculous. But at the end of the day its the persons complete decision to do this sort of thing and in that case it is their responsibility. REST IN PEACE.

The girl, most likely would have been scared or at least nervous to take the picture. Personally I wouldn't have gotten that close to the tiger like that, but I can understand why she felt comfortable enough to do so. But if you run with the devil, then expect to get burnt.

Rukas, you say the tiger was trained, well, try telling that to the girls family! The tiger killed, not because it was badly trained, or becasue she owed the tiger a drug debt. But becasue the tiger was just following its instincts and at that point the tiger snapped. You can take take the tiger out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the tiger.. What exactly was the tiger put down for? For following its instincts? or for following its instincts and not behaving like its owners want it to?

If the girl hadn't have died and was just injured, then I bet everybody would be sympathising with the tiger (media) and saying that it was scared and got frigtened. But becasue the girl died sadly, now people are just looking for a scape goat. And the tiger unfortunately is the easy target.

Those arguments are simply wrong, Ruk. Tigers are something wholly different than a dog or cat. Dogs and cats have been domesticated for millennia. Tigers haven't (and rightfully so). Something like a "trained tiger" doesn't really exist. Sure, a guy with "talent" can teach them to jump through burning hoops and all that, but is that tiger really trained and domesticated in the way a dog or cat is? Even dogs and cats resort to primary instincts once in a while and try to attack a human being when they feel threatened, annoyed, hurt, you name it. Now we have a tiger which is 500 pounds and has nails like daggers. What the fuck do you think we can expect? Just because it's supposed to be a "trained tiger" it will do whatever the fuck it's handler tells it to do? No, inside it is still the lethal predator it has always been.

Don't be stupid. Tigers and other big felines will always be wild animals, not lapdogs.

I say if ANYONE should be blamed it should be the park and the tigers trainers. If the Tiger should be killed, so should the trainers. Also the park should closed until it is safer. But it is definately NOT the girls fault and NOT the tigers fault!
