I don't mind it too much, but I also don't have great expectations. Seems like the main selling point in the trailer is "2Pac is in this game". There's game footage but no gameplay shown, it all just seems kinda... meh. I'm sure it'll be perfectly servicable and nothing more.

My only impression was Yakuza. I won't be playing but role playing Tupac in American eras from revolutionary, civil rights to 90s would be interesting. I know, I'm expecting way too much!

I wonder if they reached out to him to voice Pac. Although, I'm sure with AI, they could reconstruct his voice for much less.

EDIT: So I never knew the history behind The Realest and assumed he was an up and coming rapper around 2005 that was a one trick pony for sounding so much like Pac. Turns out he was involved with Death Row shortly after Pac's death and was even on one of Dre's albums. lol wtf?

And he produced porn. As did several other Death Row members

Oh yeah. There is an in-studio video of him recording radio friendly adlibs for Troublesome '96 and Unconditional Love, you hear part of it in the intro music video to Unconditional Love. but they ended up not using it. there's also Top Dogg who was on Death Row at the same time. it was a weird time.

From the trailer, it looked to me like something like Shenmue, or Assassin's Creed for a more modern reference, with 2Pac just as one of the characters in the game. I'm not very excited about this game.
