This is my thread

I traveled too much last year. Got a break this month then back out Jan through most of next year. 2025-26 will be a rest time, I believe. I don't make resolutions but I'm planning to regulate my sleep better next year. This week hardly felt like Christmas. Everyone's worried about everything, I guess.

Do you travel for work?

Toured with Taylor Swift, or just ended up in every city she was in. You really didnt know?

Cincinnati was pretty but not much to do and Brazil sucked, it was said.

Im going with that story!

To Whom The Bell Tolls

I heard that flight attendants in EU are regulated on how many hours they can fly (due to more cosmic radiation in the upper atmosphere and higher occurrence of breast cancer in female attendants?) but they are not regulated in the US. Is this true?

I don't think so. My wife used to be a flight attendant

South Korea’s nuclear safety agency added new regulations just this last June that are intended to minimize flight attendant’s exposure to cosmic radiation. It's a serious, under-recognized health problem. The EU made a little noise about it in 2010 but I don't think they regulate it, except to maybe limit flights for pregnant attendants.

I didn't! But now that you mention it, do you think maybe she's following me?

We're performing in Gaza in Jan. I just hope they have her favorite refreshments there, like sage, cardamom, cumin, coriander, ginger, jam, halva, and potato chips.

Feb we're off to Kyiv.

My dad (63) has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Doctors have said 12 months, statistically. Im on the other side of the world and while I've had my moments it all feels surreal.

I used to travel weekly with work. It was cool when I was young but got old quickly.

Though to be fair it wasn't travel the way you are describing it (I think). It was really just work.

Yeah, I used to travel for work too. It does get old.

I like short trips 3-5 days to explore a new place and then I start to miss my own bed.

Sorry to hear that. Had he been feeling sick or is this really unexpected?

I heard it's on the rise, especially the young. I mean the real young.

I think I know why.

Any day now... it will hit close and it could be me.

They were doing an MRI to check whether he a stomach ulcer.. no symptoms of the liver cancer at all, other than it was pushing on his stomach and making his heart burn worse
