This is my thread

I literally do not know anyone that eats duck. Even before I was vegetarian and vegan, I don't think I ever ate duck, and I certainly didn't eat fucking duck liver. That's some weird ass shit and I've never heard of it going on toast either. That's not even remotely English. My dad is about as English as it gets and I'm pretty sure I've never seen him eat it either.

But I also do not shop at M&S. So maybe, I dunno, upper class people who go to M&S regularly, are the kind of people that eat duck liver.

I did scoop up two jars of Marmite, though. My family loves it on toast. The checkout lady at M&S commented on it and asked who ate it. Said she hated it. Oh well.

It's also weird to see "Marks and Spencer" turn into "M&S." Or shortened, I should say. I understand why, but I don't think it was ever informally referred to as "M&S" in the 90s.

Also, Harrods was pretty neat. Full of Arabs in hijabs still shopping for four-digit purses. I suppose that's all they really can show off, other than shoes. But it's a pretty neat store. I wish the US had something similar; just a retardedly high-end store with pretty much everything in it. Instead, we just have stores just a few rungs down but more of them. But Harrods seems like a tourist attraction for outsiders more than anything else.

I was so out of place there, I thought a $20,000 living room set was just some chairs to rest on. They had the price on a placard on the seat so no one would sit down. $20K. Why?

I think I was the only one that walked out of there empty handed though, from my family. I'm all for having some nice clothes or something but I just couldn't do it there.

I buy my clothes from Harrods, or Harvey Nics or Selfridges. But apart from that, I wouldn't shop there. I have no inclination to spend 20k on a sofa.

Selfridges, really? Their markup is retarded. You can literally buy all the exact same shit elsewhere at 60% of the price.

Hasn't been a whole lot of good music out lately. I did like the new Underachievers album. The beats were good.

Otherwise the next albums I'm looking for is Kanye's next one, ASAP Mob, and Jeezy's. Isn't Run the Jewels due out soon, too?

New Joeel Ortiz is dirt.

Plus, you must be talking about rap only. So much good music been released this year.

I've been listening to this all day

It's not Rick Ross, the only thing that changes with him is the beat. Ty Dolla $ign, which happens to be the dumbest name in a while, is cool on the hook so that is good. Dom is just Dom, steady perfecting his style. The beat is good, anything remotely Dilla related that sounds decent grabs me, I dig it

Yeah, rap mainly. I don't listen to modern rock. I'm sure I'm missing out, but I prefer the sound and lyrics of classic rock. And I haven't even delved too deep into that either. One British band I have yet to explore is The Who. And I listened to a few random albums of The Beatles and couldn't stick around long enough to hear the rest. I may have to revisit that now, five years later.

Whatever electronic, dance, trance, whatever it's called these days, that I listen to is from random discoveries on Spotify, but I haven't been on there in a while either.

It`s rap gone weird, and it`s nasty.

I see. It is definitely different, but that's the direction rap seems to be going.

Anyone see the new Katt Williams Standup? It was really weird but it had its moments. I loved the gay athlete segment. I thought it was very well exaggerated in reenactment.
