You become zombie if you die by any means (hit by a car, face bitten off, it doesn't matter)...but I thought bites etc from zombies accelerated the process so chopping his leg off wouldn't help? I don't know.

They're taking some real ass liberties from the comics. Then again, they have to since they already killed Dale in season 2.

Everyone is already infected with the zombie disease, but it's only triggered when you die. Aside from that, you're still a walking talking human being. Now if you get bit by a zombie, the infection kills you - hence you turn into a zombie. People don't just walk around after they get bit and turn into a zombie. Usually there's a strong fever that kills you, etc.
So, cutting the infected area before it can travel through your body should work, like it does for many other diseases. It all depends how fast it goes through the blood stream.

Thanks AMC for ruining one of the best scenes in the comics by killing off Lori during child birth.

This is how she (and her fucking kid) should die

If a goddamn baby is born on TV, it should be okay for it to die on TV. Mother fucks.

As for T-Dog

If I explain it, it might spoil it all - but one of the Woodsbury guys takes a shot at her - she gets hit in the back, goes through her, hits the baby I think, she falls and lands on the baby. All you see is her lifeless body crushing a baby (you see the baby's leg hanging out from under Lori's body)...

Yeah. I expected him to die in another way, but it sucks balls.
I understand the show has to take liberties and it can't be 100%, but damn - keep the real essentials in there at least.

I watched an episode of Talking Dead where they talk about that. Basically, they have to switch things up to keep people guessing so that everyone gets surprised, not just people who didn't read the comics.

Most people watching the show haven't even checked out the comics. I wasn't surprised from what I saw today - I was pissed off. lol. I knew AMC would pull this kind of shit.

Lets be honest, they won't kill a baby on American TV like that. lol. Which means they won't show another certain scene on TV cause political correctness will come into play. Shiet, people were even writing Kirkman with complaints about it when it was first released. lol

I don't know - I just feel like the iconic scenes should stick. The one's that made people yell out: omg wtf. The rest of the story, sure - fuck around with it, I don't mind.
