I mean come on, Tupac lost to a bunch of Whores/Triks (Born in Brothels), the same triks that he despised.

I mean Super Size Me would be ok, but this is just ridiculous.

yeah I saw it too. man FUCK the academy 4 all that. I thought super size me was gonna win since it was getting all the buzz and then born into brothels just comes outta fuckin nowhere. this sucks ballz man, first 2pac's music gets assraped by eminem and interscope on LTTG, then they don't even give him a SINGLE FUCKIN' VIDEO for the album, and now the academy snubs his autobiopic for a bunch of fuckin' whores. 2pac nowadays gets no official love or respect from anybody in the industry except for an occasional shout out it seems

exactly, they are calling born into the brothels a movie about "whores", so its obvious that some of these people havent seen the competition, because born into the brothels was about the prostitues children.

awards are over-rated. what is afeni going to do with an award?
it doesn't mean anything. Being nominated already has created enough media awareness for people to watch the movie.
I've already made all my friends watch the movie in theatres and i supported it by buying the dvd as well. The dvd was awesome too, lots of extra features made it totally worth while.
