often on these boards, when people have GIFs in their sigs they will play for a period of time, say a week, and then it becomes a static image every time i see it. i've seen people draw conclusions from DP's sig pic that i am unable to. to me it's just a picture of a girl with a top holding her boobies, i don't see shit. i want to see them. what's causing this? i'm running the most recent firefox but there is no setting that does this.

i know this may sound stupid, but are you pressing the browser stop button? that will cause animated gif to not play the next frame. other than that i havent got a clue, it should have nothing to do with your browser as image files are processed in windows.

this has happened with every gif in every sig. some times they never play, some times they play every time i see them for a while then suddenly one day they don't anymore, and once it's happened once they never play again.
