The Outlawz....Minus some

A friend of mine gave me the newest edition of The Source (the one with The Game on the cover with the caption "Is Hip Hop The New WWF?".

Inside they critique the Outlawz new album "Outlawz 4 Life". In the article, they state that "Napolean has since seperated from the three and gone off to do his own thing".

They also mention in the 3 page article that while EDI, Kastro, Kadafi, Noble, Napolean and Mopreme were the official Outlawz, Big Syke was somewhat an "honorary Outlaw" because he had been one of Pac's oldest homies, down from day 1, he was a member of Thug Life, and was back with Pac on AEOM.

However, the article never says WHY Napo split from the group and they don't even mention Mopreme other than to say he was one of the original Outlawz.

So, does anyone have any info on this? I also know that Fatal was kicked out of the Lawz just before Pac died. Based on the story I've heard (from more than once source), is that Fatal was kicked out by Pac himself because he took off late at night at like 3am and was drunk and flipped Pac's Hummer. I mean, I know that Napo has been working with Johnny J for a while, and I think Mo has been doing his own thing solo, but does anyone know why they left? Furthermore, what is the relationship between Mopreme and the 3 remaining Lawz, and why is he not hanging? Last of all, why is Syke not being affiliated with the Lawz in some form or fashion? I mean, Syke was on LTTG.

I'm hoping someone has answers.

EDIT: Also, am I the only one that thinks that the PERFECT way to honor Pac on the 10th Anniversary of his death is to have ALL the Outlawz hook up AT LEAST one last time, for a big tour? And I do mean get 'em all together. EDI, Kastro, Noble, Napolean, Mopreme (aka Komani) and have Big Syke with 'em too. I mean, shit, back in the day when Pac was alife, the best Outlawz were Big Syke, Napolean and Mopreme. EDI is hit or miss, he's either tight as fuck or wack as fuck. Kastro has always been average and Noble's skills have taken HUGE LEAPS AND BOUNDS in regards to his writing and flows (not one person can convince me that Noble didn't KILL the beat on One Day At A time).

i dont think fatal got kicked out from the lawz
he left i think because the lawz signed with deathrow and pac didnt want that so he left the group

everybody knows the story behind Napoleon leaving the Outlawz, and when you take that into mind, its easy to understand why this wasn't mentioned in the article. theres no way to write about it without being biased towards one side or the other, they didnt part on happy terms

The story I heard from several legit sources is that Fatal got drunk one night and took Pac's Hummer out without asking Pac. He flipped and Pac was PIIIIIIIIISSSSEDDD.

So you wanna fill me in with the quick version?

I don't know what happened. I try to keep myself updated on that shit as much as possible, but, like I was watching my Biggie and Tupac DVD about 2 weeks ago, and in the extras, there is about a 5 minute home movie that shows Napo, EDI and Noble in their apartment and Noble and Napo both cut impromtpu freestyles (in which Noble actually kills Napo with his verse).

So, anyway, what's the jist of what happened?

simply put, napolean wanted to mature as an individual instead of trying to push the same thug shit until he was 55 years old.

In other words, the Lawz wanted to keep doing the same stale shit that gets 'em paid and sells records (kinda what Snoop does now), and Napo wanted to actually be creative and move forward, a step that Pac would have supported.

I would be nice if the Lawz hooked up for a reunion tour but I doubt it happening. There 2 hard headed. And fatal he was probably my least favourite outlaw. I really hated his voice.

fatals voice?

what about noble?

He didn't crash the hummer. Pac's hummer was on eBay a while back and had a clear title, meaning was not and has not ever been wrecked.

You don't think he could have had more than one hummer?

LOL, I used to think the same thing. I remember when it first came out listening to Makaveli and thinking "this guy sounds like he's got a fucking mouthfull of marbles or some shit".

However, Noble has REALLY improved in the past 7 years or so. The last 5 or 6 times I've heard something from him I've actually liked it and hate him or love him, you cannot deny that Noble KILLS IT on One day At A time. Probably his best lyrics and best flow ever are in that verse on that song.

ive not got anything against his lyrics/flow (well sumtimes he shit....but thats sumthing else)

just his voice is quite easily the worst

Yeah it was Pac's Range Rover

Eh...like I said...7 or 8 years ago, I'd have agreed with you. Hell, 3 years ago I'd have agreed with you. But I think he's gotten a lot better. His voice doesn't annoy me anymore. He finally got Pac's dick out of his mouth. :p

Trump Tite:
Yeah it was Pac's Range Rover

Ahhh...ok. All I knew was that he wrecked one of Pac's cars and Pac was fucking pissed.

mopreme and syke were carried over from thug life but they were the older dudes in it and basically just werent 'official' members of the group after the beginin. was on their own shit own things..but still outlawz of course still family.

fatal went to jerz after he crashed it cause he didnt know what pac would do. pac was gona be flyin fatal back out (cuz of suge, pac said he would of left his ass in jerz for a few months if it was up to him or sum shit i think thats right..) but fatal had bunch of court issues

then after pac died all the lawz went back to the east...at least most of em i think...kadafi got killed, then all the lawz minus fatal went to cali and signed with suge even tho pac told em over n over not to do it. with this and other shit, main thing bein Kadafis death..lawz and fatal were shady for years after and shit. they said he wasnt an outlaw anymore back then cut him off songs
