Yes. 3 games at home is an advantage if you steal one of the first two games. Even if you don't if your a good home team gives you a chance to be 3 up before you have to win away.. Will be interesting to see what's what after Game 2. Tied or OKC up.
Thunder are gonna have bigger issues tonight, hopefully some D adjustments and some better offense for the 2nd half.. Harden saved that half for them, also Ibaka.
Thunder better deal with 1st quarter shittyness... It's all well and good bringing it back in the end and having a close finish, but make it easier on yourselves! Will be interesting how the next 3 games land.
I'm kinda sad OKC isn't gonna see their team again. Gonna sweep MIA in the next 3. Oh well, always the ring ceremony. Not like they're changing cities or anything.
Stern was on a local radio show the other day talking about the Finals, and he mentioned that rich guy who wants the Sonics back and is willing to put up some money for a new arena. He also said there's no climate for expansion and that the new Sonics would just have to be moved there from another city. Given the history, would you be comfortable being the Zombie Kings? Doing that to another city?
David Stern is not going to be commissioner for much longer, maybe three years max. Adam Silver might have a different opinion on it.
I would be comfortable with getting another team while fully realizing that we're doing a similar (but not the same) thing. I'd never be a dick about it, in the way that people in Oklahoma tend to be.

It's hard after watching that video and putting everything into perspective to be a Thunder fan. For a person from Seattle, anyway. I don't have any ill will towards common people in Oklahoma or a girl in Australia who likes watching them (lol).

See, this stings. NY fans are proud. We assume that every big name free agent and coach wants to come here and be a Broadway star. Phil's sticking a needle in that balloon. Of course it's not basketball season and I'm emotionally disengaged from my Knicks (they don't have a game tomorrow), so I can see--clearly and without hesitation--that he's right. It is a clumsy roster. It's built in the Heat mold, except the top two aren't Wade and the other guy. Our top two are good, but they're human. They have significant flaws. All you rational folk around the country might have looked at that NYK/Miami series as a done deal Miami win, but lemme tell you: I listen to a lot of sports talk radio around here, and we did not see it that way. We're a wholly irrational fanbase, always beating our chests for teams too shitty to talk about. Phil Jackson is really making me reevaluate my sports fandom (something I've put no small amount of passion and emotion into since I was ten years old. Wait, think about that! That's 3 teams I've lived and died with for 15 seasons. That's 45 chances my teams had to win rings, ZERO RINGS IN MY LIFE. That SUCKS. I should retire from watching sports). Anyway, this Knicks team will never win anything. What else is new?
I'm gonna go eat PB&J.
