I just watched this. Very dark and twisted movie. Anyone else seen it? Bale was great in it.

Yup, great flick. Bale's second best performance.

First of course goes to American Psycho.

i thought the story of the film was average.

the performance by the cast was top..

Bale really gave his all in this film its a shame film itself was not great...

i couldnt enjoy this film as much as i could with the movie Momento..

i thought the Machinist was awesome. my wife loved it, too, except Bale's body. it grosses her out.

Yeah my wife hipped me to seeing this movie as she saw it when it came out a few years ago. Although if I'd known of the Nine Inch Nails connection I would have checked it sooner (the character Trevor Reznik named after Trent Reznor of NIN and a few more things.....original poster had a backwards N on it like the NIN logo)

She was freaked out my the way Bale looked in the movie too.

yes. a good movie. i liked it a lot. there are also lots of reference to Dostoyevsky and his works in that movie.
