i was skeptical when me and the wife rented it last week, but it was pretty good, not as "jumpworthy" as parts of the ring or the grudge, but as for current horror/suspense flicks it was pretty good...on a side note, the next day after watching it, the original "exorcisist" was on HBO, that movie, from 72 or 73 to me was scarier than most of the shit that comes out these days

From the trailer I can tell I probably shouldnt see it, I'd be scared for days. First time I watched the Exorcist I had to leave half way through and it haunted me for days and then I watched it in full and it stopped bugging me. But the exorcist was crazy especially for a movie from the 70's!

Gayest fucking movie. It wasn't scary at all...the story line and concept I guess was alright, but this was supposed to be a make u pee in ur pants scary type movie and like it didn't have ANY scenes where it shook me. Even the ring had one part where it jus got me outta nowhere. But this movie had absolutely no scary shit...sure yea it had like 2-3 realllly trippy scenes where da girl was like completely trippin out herself but otherwise for something thats supposed to be a scary movie...it was fuckin shit. Just my opinion though.

I very much doubt it. It was more about how the girl experienced the possession and the decision of the court case. They embelished the story a bit to add excitement and to make the question 'was she really possessed?' somewhat more obvious but this wasn't a horror movie.

^^ It was advertised as a thriller...I didn't even know it was a court case until I watched it, none of the commercials contained any of the scenes from the court scenes either cause it was being endorsed by the "scary" parts of the movie in sense of getting the reputation of a thriller/scary movie.
