i didn't like this song at first but it did grow on me, but still it wont be on repeat listens compare to the hot classic from 82.

Oh yeah, it's totally a "Little Red Corvette" rip off.

But it's actually quite well written and produced, which is more than you can say for most people that attempt to rip off Prince (Timberfake being one example).
