its a mixed bag to be honest. oddly enough the comic strip would never have gotten off the ground if it wasnt for jayson blair, same guy who fabricated articles for the new york times for many years. you would have to check out the comic strip in the papers or watch the show to get a grasp of it. its worth watching.

but i would never put it in the same catagory as the simpsons or south park. all though it does have some comparisons to south park in the way it takes on cultural issues and politics.

boondocks arent supposed to be funny....there's huge political side to it too....it's more like, 65% political, maybe 25% funny, and 10% just random.....i dont laugh when i watch it, but i still think its a good show and worth watching...or dling....
