Newcastle looked very impressive today, always good to see Utd drop points

Gutierrez looked good. Coloccini was OK, better than the alternatives for Newcastle.

Still, if we'd had any of our missing players on the pitch (Tevez, Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Saha... even Hargreaves) I think we would have won. Given was lucky with Campbell's header, and we should have had an early penalty.

Still, took us a while to get going last year and we didn't do too badly in the end.

Given was outstanding again. How many games have Newcastle got a result out of because of him. great keeper.

Collocini was considered a great prospect when he was younger and has had some good seasons in Spain.

Liverpool won which is the most important thing. Benitez's team selection was baffling. Plessis ahead of Alonso? wtf and Hyypia is pushing on now. not sure why Agger wasnt playing and Skrtal of course. And no i dont hate Benitez. I am thankful for what he has achieved but our lack of progress in the league under him has been frustrating.

Villa had a good win but they cant keep a clean sheet anymore. Man City are rubbish. i dunno whats happend them.
