I don't think anyone here really gets my humor.

I enjoy winding people up as much as I can, let's put it that way. I mean, yeah, I like to inform and educate, but it's not like I don't know that the methods Chronic and Jokerman (who both share most of my viewpoints more than anyone else) use aren't more effective.

I really don't expect to bring people round to my way of thinking. I'm not trying to convert people. That's why I find it hilarious when SOFI (for example) tries to call me a fundamentalist, etc.

I'm deliberately poking and provoking people in order to get a reaction most of the time. And you know what? I've single-handedly created more 20+ page threads than ANYONE else on this board in the last year or two. That's a fact and you can look it up. For better or worse, everyone on this board knows my handle and certain things about me that I reveal.

I've engaged every single person on this board one or the other, and learned a lot about how to get specific reactions from people and other social constructs like divide and conquer tactics, empowering the people that support you, etc.

I view this entire board as somewhat of a social experiment and I actually think that anyone in this board that met me in real life and had any preconceptions of my character based upon what I post here would be shocked, and surprised.

There are certain people here that understand that. Mostly the people I speak to regularly off the board, like SiGh, Rukas, Prize Gotti. Have you noticed that despite being on opposite ends of the spectrum on the meat argument, Prize Gotti and I have never got into a slanging match? He knows my character, because we've talked outside of this forum for years.

I kinda didn't want to show my hand and make this post, but I admit I've gone a bit OTT recently (see Sebastian? I admitted a fault, something you claimed I've never done!!) and I needed to balance the scales out a bit.

A little perspective is important, I think. The truth of my character lies more in the things I write and talk about in "Don't Stop The Music" than anywhere else on this forum.

Just some food for thought......now all you religious fucks and animal murderers can go back to disgusting me. ;) ;) ;)

What, you mean being a militant Prince fundamentalist? :p

It's ok, we're cool. But you must also know that some of your provoking, how harmless it may be in intention, can cause a lot of people to say things to you that they in reality don't mean.

I understand the social experiment thing. I'd lie if I said I didn't do the same thing sometimes (albeit on a different forum). But on here, especially in a serious debate, I do try to be as neutral as possible and not provoke. Mostly because I enjoy a good, proper discussion (rare on the net, better done IRL), I try (emphasis on try) not to ruin it by straying off-topic.

Of course, I totally get that. That's part of the experiment, seeing how far I can take it with different people. Everyone has a limit, but some reach that limit much sooner than others. It's all psychological. Most of the time, you can read between the lines and see what's being said due to anger, and read through that to find the truth. If you don't manipulate people in this fashion, people tend to sit on the fence for the sake of polite conversation, and their real feelings never surface.

To break it down to one line, I deliberately manipulate social conversation and discussion in order to learn about behavioural patterns and the truth of people's views.

You mean a swift move into a poster of almighty, incomparable worldwide renown.

Some say I have a messiah complex.....I tell 'em to stop blaspheming :)
LOL I said that to you. I said

"You tend to have a god complex"

You said

"I'm an atheist"

I explained in 140 characters what I meant, (this was on twitter) and then you agreed :)

Remember? It's when you were arguing with that one guy about being vegetarian and he got really, really, really upset? Started talking about caterpillars in his driveway? LOL

But you have to take into account one massive random factor in your results:

The internet.
The internet is the platform for all of it, so it's not a factor. The completely random nature of the internet is the driving force behind trying to make sense of it and conducting the experiments in the first place.

But ultimately you'll only know of people's behaviour on here. If I were to conduct the same experiment, I would know about Casey Rain the poster, but not about You-You. As you say yourself, the real you is different from the SH-you.

Or your whole experiment is exactly about these internet personalities, in which case I misunderstood your initial post.

Yeah, I'm talking about social behaviour in the context of the internet.

Thats because you claim its humour, when its not.

I really don't expect to bring people round to my way of thinking. I'm not trying to convert people. That's why I find it hilarious when SOFI (for example) tries to call me a fundamentalist, etc.
Lol, what a blatant lie.

I've single-handedly created more 20+ page threads than ANYONE else on this board in the last year or two. That's a fact and you can look it up.
So? Its not like this indicates that you are a good poster, make interesting statements or anything positive for that matter.

You say you like to provoke people on here. Well, you succeed in doing so...by being radical and intolerant.

I kinda didn't want to show my hand and make this post, but I admit I've gone a bit OTT recently (see Sebastian? I admitted a fault, something you claimed I've never done!!)
You havent, until now.

I had turkey on Canadian thanksgiving and on the American thanksgiving and I'll have turkey on Christmas.

I understand the social experiment thing..
I don't think you do. You see, he's measuring the willingness of study participants (like yourself) to obey a musical authority figure who instructs them to perform acts that conflict with their personal likes and dislikes.

Jokerman gets it.

Sebastian doesn't - what a surprise. I think he's just upset at being a pawn in my evil schemes. lol.

Seb, here's the flaw with your post. I acknowledged that the non-aggressive methods that Chronic and Jokerman employ regarding vegetarianism and animal rights are far more likely to gain impact than attacking people. I'm FULLY aware of that. So if I was really trying to "convert" people - the logical move would be for me to slowly switch into their methods. Instead, I moved the other way, slowly aggravating, provoking and pushing people more. Do you think I did this with the aim of "converting" people to my way of thinking? Obviously not. You think I didn't know what I was doing the whole time? If that's the case, you've just proven that I succeeded. It's like when people believed that Sacha Baron Cohen's characters such as Ali G, Borat and Bruno were real, took them seriously, and completely missed the point of what he was doing, thus making his original intentions succeed.

So, as I said you missed the humor, you missed the satire, and you're still in denial about it even though I've admitted it. But that's OK, because you can believe whatever you want, it really makes no difference to me or my life.

The same, exact thing could be said for every poster on this board. Take me and illmatic, for example. We have on numerous occasions "wound" you up and engaged you in these arguments whereby you've gone off your rocker, basically. It's after "winding you up" and looking at your behavior after, that I concluded what I've concluded in the other thread. So, while you think we're the lab rats, YOU are the lab rat. :D
