Film & TV Tekken: The Live Action Movie....

This movie has ALOT of potential. Mainly because unlike many other videogame/comic book/manga adaptations , they've seemed to keep their choice of actors close in resemblance the original characters in which they will play. Not every Tekken character is gonna be in it but they've definitely in my opinion chose the cream of the crop so to speak. No Lei Wu Long, Paul Phoenix or Baek Do Sun which sucks cause I really enjoy those dudes in the games but I can't complain. Too many characters would've strained the story line and by keeping them down in numbers it makes for a better story line start to finish.

The movie seems to be set between Tekken 3 and Tekken 4 in the year 2038 or something like that. It's more or less a sequel to the anime movie released late last century.

Overview of the plot is:

A Young Man Who seeks revenge of his mothers death. He finds his grand-father, Heihachi Mishima, and pleas to be trained. When the Mishima leader announces a "King of Iron Fist" tournament. He finds out that his mother's killer will be participating in the tournament. He must fight against the worlds top competitors to achieve his goal with no interference. Written by Neru Cha

The leader of a highly corrupt business under investigation of murder, Heihachi Mishima, suspiciously announces a tournament to crown a "king of iron fist" whereby the winner will be made his personal bodyguard and will have riches and fame laid upon them. Set in 2039, the film promises non-stop high flying action as the greatest fighters from around the world come to compete in the last and greatest sporting event of all time – the Fist Tournament.
