2pac's music never been released on super audio cd,dvd-audio or hd-cd ? just wonderin...
the sound quality is much better on these!

since i have a super audio cd player , the regular cds have the sound quality of cassette tapes to me.

the taiwanese bootlegs claim hdcd, but of course they're probably just normalized tracks pulled off of retail american cd's. really, hdcd and the like is overrated when it comes to average music. dvd quality audio doesn't stand out from cd when you have music like hip hop, which is primarily synthesized with 44.1khz instrumentation.

that being said, saying a cd sounds like a tape because of a balls system is a little far fetched to me.

True 5.1 channel surround sound is still better than 2 stereo channel cd though, I want 5.1 dvd quality where each speaker has a dedicated use for example

1. Bass Speaker

2. Main instrumental
3. Instrumental 2nd layer
4. Main Vocals
5. Backing Vocals
6. Chorus/Hook

It'd make vocals alot more ledgeable imo.

that would destroy the sound image of hip hop music though. if you want orchestral separation, listen to orchestra music. hip hop is not intended for this separation and if you accomplished it, it would sound horrible to have all these different sounds hitting you from each direction.

that's not to say this is impossible. with a high end signal processor you can achieve this to a degree, but really what you're after is not feasible.

In over words Hip-Hop music needs better leveling technology, I feel the "first 2 bomb remix" on kadafi's mixtape would sound x times better if the 2nd layer was turned up higher instead of being over compressed to the point where it takes away from it's value the "Booooooooooommmm" sound I mean that kicks in at 36secs which repeats all the way through the track should have more bass imo this track should bang through a sub but it doesn't

The intro should include "all my muthafuckaz in the place to be shout out fuck snoop & master p" :D

Dr. Dre said he was gonna do his Detox album in dolby digital 5.1 surround, so I'm interested to see if he's actually gonna go through with that and if he does what its gonna sound like, if anyone could do that in rap it would be him.

i read an article about 6 months ago that said stereo is soon gonna get replaced by something better and thats gonna be the standard. maybe its 5.1 i dont quite remember
