lol @ at movie buff. I rarely go see movies at movie theaters cause most movies suck however I must admit this summer I went often.

This being said, this week I'm either going to see Pineapple Express or this. Not sure yet. If I go to the movies tomorrow it'll be this, if it's next weekend, not sure.

I have heard only good things about this movie though, very good critics. So if its rainy tomorrow... ;)

Oh and btw Sigh started this thread Snowman. Just letting you know.

Pineaple Express doesn't open till Wednesday,so unless they have a sneak preview where you live carmi, you'll have to wait till next week.

so i went to see this last night, and i concur with most: it was fuckin hilarious. i didn't have high hopes to be honest (Will Ferrell's movies as of late have been disappointing to say the least) but i don't think i stopped laughing for more than a minute at a time. i love Derek's wife : "I want to roll you up in a ball and stick you in my pussy" LMAO

I haven't seen it yet, but there's an ANCHORMAN 2 COMING!!!!!!11

also, I'm going to do whatever to check out Pineapple Expresss.

So this movie is really good, huh? I thought Talledaga Nights was funny the first time, but kind of wore off after repeat viewings. That could have made me weary to see this, or the fact that I had to go see The Dark Knight multiple times.

This is his best movie since Anchorman. It has endless quotables. And has great replay value.

"You have a voice of an angel. You sound like Fergie and Jesus combined." LOL WTF

I wasted my time going to see the Mummy. Fuck they ruined the series.
lol, you saw the ads, and you still went to see it? well you have no one to blame but yourself. that movie looked terrible.

thinking of an Anchorman sequel, i wonder if anyone has heard this yet:

Christina Applegate fighting breast cancer

Emmy award-winning actress Christina Applegate is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, her publicist has revealed.

Applegate, who is best known for her roles in 'Married with Children' and 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy', has however had the disease detected early and is expected to fully recover following treatment.

The 36-year-old star released a statement confirming the illness through television news magazine 'Extra'.

The statement said: "Benefiting from early detection through a doctor-ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time."

Applegate is currently starring in 'Samantha Who?', a US sitcom which is produced and created by Irish author Cecelia Ahern.

Playing the lead role in the show, Applegate stars as a woman who wakes from a coma with no memory of who she is. She has been nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe for the show.

She first rose to fame in 1987 as ditzy teenager Kelly Bundy on 'Married with Children', which ran for 11 seasons.

In 2003 she won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as one of Jennifer Aniston's younger sisters in 'Friends'. She was nominated for a Tony in 2005 for the Broadway musical 'Sweet Charity'.

Her film roles include 'Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead', 'Wild Bill', 'Wonderland' and 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy'.

Applegate is scheduled to appear on a one-hour US television special, 'Stand up to Cancer', on 5 September to raise funds for cancer research.

I think you mean Seth Rogen, but I can see how you'd get these 2 mixed up.
