Stat Quo Released From Aftermath

Stanley Benton, better known by his name Stat Quo has quit Aftermath after coming to a mutual agreement with Dr. Dre, the head and founder of the record label.

The Atlanta-born rapper, has had his debut effort Statlanta constantly delayed and had never set a specific release date for the album, since the beginning of the project in 2003.

Five years later, after much frustration Stat has come to the decision where his fans will hear his album on Aftermath/Interscope or not.

Although Statlanta has been completed for some time, Stat Quo will be releasing a new version of the album to drop in stores within the coming months. He also mentioned in an interview with HipHopDX that he is working on an untitled sophomore album.
