Ok, I did a quick check didn't see any other threads about this game that are recent. So I thought I'd make a thread about it.

I bought it yesterday and I am already whooping the arcade mode on edge master level, lol. Having played it on Dream Cast and PS2 has helped. To master your favourite character, I suggest you fight them one on one, in training, on edge master difficulty, and copy the CPU's moves, one after the other, just from observation. That way you will become to know your favourite character inside out. It works for me. I am up and ready for kicking ass online, anyone?

I been debating whether or not i should buy this game. I keep hearing good things then i keep hearing bad things. I need to rent it to see if it's worth the purchase.

I loved Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast and SC2 on the xbox. Two of my favorite games of all time. I don't own a PS3 though. Is this out on xbox360? I was debating getting one.

I never understood the attraction of these games. I find them all the same.

Now Bioshock... thats a different story

I'm dissapointed to see that the quick moves have gone from the players move list, but some good new moves have been introduced otherwise. There is also a Critical Finish that you can pull out on your opponents in like a mortal kombat fatality style match ending.
