Duke said Britain barely owns any stolen land anymore. You replied to this by saying that Canada is stolen land thus implying that you felt Britain owned Canada. Had you not thought this, you shouldn't have quoted Duke but rather you should've just said "Canada is stolen land" & then people would take that comment for what it is at face value as opposed to what it is in relation to Duke's comment.

And in order for the english to do so, they had to use force, because they were infringing on the aboriginals rights. If I invade your country, steal your land and force you and your subsequent descendents into poverty, do my relatives not have a duty to make some sort of amends? It's simply not good enough to say "my forefathers did it, it has nothing to do with me". As Pennypacker alluded to, it's very easy to enjoy the fruits of your forefathers exploits, it's not so easy to right their wrongs.

No one ever asked you to feel guilty man. Many white citizens today inherited their riches from their forefathers, most of them got rich by taking from of the land, and that money is still being passed down. A whole generation of elders was eliminated to make way for the Europeans. The reason Indigenous peoples are strugglin' today is cus they they lost a whole generation before them, and gotta start from scratch in a society that frowns upon them for being the way they are.
