Snoop Dogg has "pissed" a New Orleans bar and its collegiate clients on Saturday when he failed to show up at the planned party. The star rapper was supposed to perform at the bar's after party for the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities.
"We got stood up so bad!" an employee of the bar tells OK! magazine. "We charged $15 a person and the line was out the door waiting to get in."
Snoop was supposed to have his DJ's play at the bar around 10:30 on Saturday, while he was supposed to appear around 1 a.m. His crews came in and set up the equipment but Snoop and his entourage was nowhere to be found.
To make up for their disappointed customers, The Boot sent out an email to its clients on Monday:
"The Boot would like to apologize for the disappointment that was this past Saturday night. As most of you know, Snoop Dogg was supposed to throw his after party for the NBA All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest at The Boot, but never showed up. Despite the fact that this was completely out of our hands (and we were just as pissed off as you were), we want to show our appreciation for everyone who stuck around all night by offering a free 50 cent night this week."
"Again, we're sorry for the frustration, so come by, get drunk and maybe get laid and you'll remember how much fun we used to have together... baby."
