Back in 2001, Shania Twain, who is a big fan of India and Indian culture, decided, that for her new album she was about to make, she wanted to make 3 separate discs with the same songs:

Disc 1 would be the Red disc - the pop versions of the songs.
Disc 2 would be the Blue disc, the same songs, but musically they would be World/Indian versions inspired by Bhangra and Bollywood music.
Disc 3 would be the Green disc, stripped down country mixes.

In the USA, the album was sold as a double CD with the Red and Green CD and everywhere else in the world it would be sold as as the Red and Blue disc.

Anyway, my two cousins (Simon and Diamond Duggal) were asked to produce the Blue disc. They lived with Shania and her husband, producer Mutt Lange in her Switzerland estate for an entire year making the album, and had an unlimited budget to go to India and record the best musicians available to get all the traditional Indian sounds.

The album went on to sell 16million. I've always loved what they did with it, so I thought I'd post a few of the tracks:

Ain't that the truth.

I remember when my cousins were living with her I would call them up every so often, first thing in the morning because that's the only time I'd ever be able to reach them. Shania would be cooking breakfast for them and the other folks working on the album....they said she looked just as beautiful first thing in the morning as when she was all done up for a photoshoot etc.
