Film & TV SGU Stargate Universe

I loved the original series, thought Stargate Atlantis was ok, but this sucks so bad I want every character to get sucked into space. No action, no interesting characters, cliched plot.

It looks like Battlestar Galactica, which I hated. Soap opera bs.

Ive never been into this science fiction stuff. Ive never seen Star Wars, Star Trek or anything like that.

For some reason though, i liked the original Stargate series. Didnt see every episode but i watched it for some time. Stopped watching it when Atlantis began. Crap.

Yea, I liked the original SG. Never watched Atlantis. But SGU, I don't mind. I've watched the first few episodes and quite enjoyed them, the plot does seem to be moving horrendously slow however. As for action, the best scene i've seen (see what I did there? ), is where the damn doctor faints and collapses. But the story line has potential in my opinion and the show could pick up.

The jury is still out on this, i'll give it a few more episodes and see if it improves.
