I think everyone was likin the sound at first, then they realized they couldn't understand what the fuck the guy was saying, so they couldn't sing along. That's why he died/is dying out.

I have the Blender magazine that states he is recording an album:

Dancehall star Sean Paul is recording the follow-up to 2002's triple platinum selling Duty Rock titled Trinity at 2 hard studios in Kingston Jamaica.

He's actually not dying out. His single ''We Be Burning'' which I just saw the clip and it's dope has been really heating up in the clubs.

A shitload of people don't understand Reggeaton and shit like that, but it's been blowing. People dance to wahtever sounds good. That's why you can only tolerate it in clubs. Except for me, I hate Raggeaton.
