New York, NY (CNS) - Rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has been in and out of numerous court battles, but his latest lawsuit has been dismissed.
Maria Dominguez filed a $3 million dollar claim against Combs after the November 2006 article in US magazine published topless photos of her with the star.
Dominguez was hanging out with Combs during his infamous White Party event when the pictures were taken.
She claims that Combs and the magazine violated her right to privacy by using the pictures of her at the event without her permission.
She also alleged that article promoted advertising for the rapper and his label, Bad Boy Entertainment, Inc.
New York state judge Justice Doris Ling-Cohan threw the case out on Tuesday, saying that Dominguez couldn't expect privacy at such a well-known and public event.
She stated in her ruling, "Sean Combs and his renowned annual White Party are subjects of tremendous public interest, attracting the steady attention of the public and many news organizations."
