holla bak

"After Tupac's death there were rumors that Biggie wanted to do a song called "Dig Him Up" dissing Pac by saying that if people really thought Tupac was alive they should dig him up."

"Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tupac didn't talk to each other after their last trip to N.Y. together. This was because Snoop made a song dissing Death Row called "Death Row Killaz". They later were friends again."

"The Cocoa Brovas (f.k.a. Smiff -n- Wesson) were on BET's Rap City and they were talking about the "One Nation" album. They said that they stayed at Tupac's house while making the album and it was just cool. They met his mother and his aunt. They, Tupac and The Outlawz used to have waterfights when it was hot. They said they made 6 songz together with Tupac, themselves, Outlawz, Melly Mel, Grandmaster Flash, The Luniz, Outkast and others."

"In a newspaper they once had predictions for 1998 and they wrote this about Pac: "Rumors that slain rapper Tupac Shakur is still alive reach a fever pitch until he emerges from self-imposed seclusion and admits a look-alike was gunned down in his place. His shocking new mission: To rid the world of violence."

"There are rumours spreaded by a radiostation that over 500 people sited Tupac in Cuba."

"Snoop Doggy Dogg made a tribute song for Pac & Biggie called "How Many Blessings" which is not released yet."

Anyone heard it?

"TQ and Tupac did 2 songz together which should be on TQ's next album"

heard bout this b4 cant mind wot was said tho?

"Lil' Kim once said that Bad Boy did a track dissing Tupac but they didn't released it after Tupac "died". The song did not feature Biggie; it was only Lil' Kim and Junior M.A.F.I.A."

anyone no wot it called?

"The video for "All 'Bout You" (Greatest Hits version) that was released in 1998 contains scenes of a new Volkswagen Beatle which was only available since 1998!"

"Tupac did a song for a DJ at KKDA radio in Texas which was just a rap about that radiostation. It had the exact beat as Bone Thugs -n- Harmony's song "Body Rott". The chorus was womething like "just give me your soul, just give me your soul, give me your soul."

think we need dante on this one

No to the first one.

Never heard about that Body Rott thing, would be tight if it was true.

The way I remember the rumor was that "Dig 'Em Up" was a song that Junior M.A.F.I.A. made without Biggie because Biggie didn't want to be a part of it. But after they made it, they figured they shouldn't release it since it would be disrespectful and pathetic to diss a dead man.

The Snoop thing isn't true. There was a bit of tension after the NY trip, but not over that song (because I don't think it exists), it was because he was on the radio saying he would be willing to work with Biggie and other artists that Pac didn't like.

The Coco Brovaz did stay at Pac's house and have waterfights. Pac didn't diss them on the clean version "Hit 'Em Up"; he was giving them props, along with Naughty By Nature, Freddie Foxxx, "and all them real thugs."

The tabloid was bullshit, obviously.

The Snoop song was called "Count Your Blessing" not "How Many Blessings", if I remember correctly. It is still unreleased.

I don't know about the TQ stuff.

Lil' Kim was talking about "Dig 'Em Up"

The video does have the New Beetle in it, but it is only in scenes of Top Dogg, who wasn't even in the original version of the song recorded in 1996. His verse was added in years later, just like the footage inserted in the video.

DOn't know about all the songs with Grandmaster Flash and all of them, but Cocoa B's did live at his house while they were doing One Nation. On one of the many Pac documentaries out there (Might have been either Thug Immortal or Thug Angel) They have an interview with them saying that Pac was filming Gang Related at the time they were staying there, and he would come in and wake them up at like 6 in the morning with a blunt lol

Think that is true, story goes that Puffy talked him out of it

"Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tupac didn't talk to each other after their last trip to N.Y. together. This was because Snoop made a song dissing Death Row called "Death Row Killaz". They later were friends again."

I believe the fall out was about Snoop saying on a radio station that he would work with Biggie and puffy, that made Pac mad. don't think he made "Death Row Killaz" till some time after.

No, not that I am aware of anyway.

Not sure, would not doubt it.

it is during the Top Dogg verse, all of that shit was "new"

Someone posted a TQ interview a long time ago with him saying that 3 songs he made with Pac. He was telling how Afeni gave him (and other [former] original guest appearers on Pac's music) a very reasonable amount of money for being on the track and that was pretty much the last of it they ever saw (removed from track)

...the only song I can remember him mentioning was "Tearz of a Clown"...I'm kinda thinking he said he did chorus on "Eraze The Facez" but I'm only positive of the first one. Does anybody know the other two songs TQ did with him?

According to a poster on ThugPoetry.com, TQ mentioned in an interview he had remixed two 2pac songs and gave them to Afeni Shakur. TQ said he wouldn't release them. You can read the whole post here...

ThugPoetry.com: A couple of years back you did three 2Pac joints. What are the names of the songs and who did you do it with?

TQ: The first one's called "Tears Of A Clown". I did that one with Mike Mosley. It's 2Pac rapping on it and me singing on it. I did another one called "Dope Fiends Diner". That's me singing on it and 2Pac rapping on it, produced by Shock G from Digital Underground and then the other one is called "In The Event Of My Demise" and that's me singing on it, 2Pac rapping. If I'm not mistaking Soul Shock and Carla produced that. Honestly I don't know who produced that one, but those are the three that I did.

When you do business with Afeni you basically sign your rights over. She pays you right there, you'll never see any else from the song. So I couldn't tell you what records they're coming out on if they're coming out cause they were done so long ago. I can't tell you if they'll ever see the light of day. I can't tell you that if they come out I'll still be the person on there singing. She paid me for them, I did them and that was it.

ThugPoetry.com: You don't have them in your personal collection either?

TQ: No. I couldn't get copies or none of that. I mean, she paid well for it. It was Pac sh!t, I would have done it for free.

Cuz it should be spelled "dinner'; two "n"s for the meal. But it's spelled diner, like a place you eat at...Dopefiend's Diner, sounds funny.
It's Diner, not Dinner.

The song samples "Tom's Diner".
