It was on Vs network.
Hopkins went 12 rounds with some guy he used to spar with.
Won by unanimous decision, it was a decent fight.
Severely disappointed by Jones, man.

Yep real sad to see, although he's been shot for years. Imagine if he had retired after winning a version of th heavyweight title against John ruiz? It would have been so sweet, but no he fights on way past his best and gets KO'D by tarver, johnson,and green and humiliated by Calzaghe. Enough respect though, he's heading straight to the hof.



Imo B hop would have destroyed him next year.

I think Jones doesn't care anymore. I mean really. He could have shoved that dude away, he could have attempted a jab, something! I mean, fucking biting him would have got him more respect.
I think Hopkins would whip his ass, and it hurts me to say it.
It's sad because they hyped up this "formidable comeback trail" bullshit, only for him to go out like that.

Thing is peeps wanted to belive he was still the same old roy, but he was only getting wins over guys like Omar shieka, jeff lacy and a blown up welter in felix trinidad.

I for one will be remembering Roy in the mid nineties! He really was some machine.

It just always sucks to see someone you look up to fall from grace, i.e. Allen Iverson, Michael Jordan, RJJ, Eminem, the list goes on.
